Once again, ATC was proud to provide technical and stage support for a televised political debate for ITV — this time for the EU Referendum broadcast from their Westminster studio.
The Brief
ATC assisted ITV with the development and construction of the press and media suite, delivering a full video, audio, rigging, lighting, and power distribution solution to relay the broadcast from the main studio to the press.
Video
Our video setup included:
- Panasonic PT-RZ12K laser projectors
- 65″ and 80″ Panasonic LCD screens
These ensured that journalists and media professionals had clear, real-time visuals from the main debate stage.
Audio
To provide high-quality audio for both the live broadcast and presenters in the press suite, we supplied:
- Yamaha QL5 digital mixing desk with Dante rack
- Shure radio microphones
- d&b T Series line array system for full-range, intelligible sound
Lighting
Lighting coverage included:
- Selecon and Source Four generic fixtures for stage lighting
- Robe Robin 600E moving spots for dynamic effects
- Prolight SMARTBAT uplighters to add atmosphere and brand colour to the suite
Power Distribution
A key aspect of the ATC delivery was power infrastructure — with supplies distributed to over fifty journalists’ workstations, ensuring reliable connectivity throughout the event.
A high-pressure live broadcast supported seamlessly by ATC’s technical expertise — delivering clarity, reliability, and impact.
