Tamworth / Online

The very first NHS Team NUH Awards gave us the opportunity to provide studio and live streaming support for our client Chris Whitmore Associates. The event was also the first-ever online awards ceremony for Nottingham University Hospitals.

Studio Setup

We built a bespoke studio at our Tamworth base, using the highest quality equipment to deliver a seamless production. We were proud to welcome the Chairman and Acting Chief Executive of Nottingham University Hospitals, who took to the stage to present awards throughout the evening.

Honouring NHS Heroes

What a privilege it was to help recognise real heroes from the NHS in an emotional online ceremony that was streamed live to hundreds of NHS staff via Facebook.

Technical Highlights

The striking awards presentation was anchored by a curved 2.6mm Unilumin UPAD III LED screen, delivering a high-impact visual backdrop.

The full video solution included:

  • Three Sony HXC-100 cameras
  • Panasonic AV-HS410 mixer
  • Custom-built PPU
  • Barco E2 switcher and EC30 controller
  • Blackmagic Web Presenter
  • vMix software for streaming
  • Atmos Shogun recorders for post-event editing

Lighting & Audio

The stage was brought to life with:

  • Robe Robin 600E spots
  • SGM Q7 LED floods
  • Chauvet EVE E-100Z profiles
  • Chauvet F-265WW and EVE F-50Z Fresnels
  • Controlled by an Avolites Pearl Quartz lighting desk

For audio, we used:

  • Shure UR series microphones
  • d&b T Series and E Series speakers
  • Sennheiser in-ear monitors
  • Yamaha QL1 digital mixing desk

The event was an incredible success, and we’re thrilled to hear the client is already in talks with us about the next awards ceremony.
